German railway Weiler

Railway stations are places of brief glances - you wait, you go. Weiler im Remstal station has long retaining walls that are passed by commuters and travellers every day without anyone noticing them. The station management wanted to change this.

We developed a design that sees both sides of the wall as a coherent system: rich areas of colour as the basic rhythm, interspersed with large-format animal motifs - zebra, leopard - and botanical details.
