The daily bread

Lauterbach is a community characterised by craft businesses. The retaining wall we painted had been unused for a long time - and offered a space for a design that picks up on this context.

We developed a figurative-illustrative mural that shows local crafts: Butchers, bakers, carpenters - depicted using hands, tools and materials. The realisation with the brush was not a matter of course, but programmatic: manual work as a motif, manual work as a method.
